Centaurea – ‘Tall Blue Boy’ (Bachelor Button)

Classic, cottage-garden charm in a rich, cornflower blue. ‘Tall Blue Boy’ bachelor’s buttons feature frilly, thistle-like blooms on wiry, upright stems. These blooms add texture and a soft burst of color to spring and early summer designs.

• Design notes: Excellent as a textural accent or filler in wildflower-style arrangements. Beautiful when mixed with lisianthus, feverfew, and sweet peas. Great for garden-style bouquets or casual wedding work.
• Handling/Care: Strip lower leaves. Recut stems at an angle and hydrate in clean, cool water for at least 2 hours before arranging. Store in cooler at 36–40°F. Flowers will continue to open after harvest, especially when exposed to warm temperatures.
